Kirkcudbright’s Christmas tree festival has come to an early end

For the past few weeks, a range of lovely trees sponsored by the local community has been on display in the town’s parish church.

That was due to be the case again on Saturday and Sunday, however organisers have decided it won't reopen due to increasing concern over the Omicron variant of coronavirus.
