Kirkcudbright and Twynholm Scouts receive £100 from KeyStore to help with trip to Wales

Kirkcudbright and Twynholm Scouts have been given £100 by KeyStore towards the cost of a minibus for their proposed trip to Wales in July.

KeyStore’s new marketing campaign is themed We’ll Support You Ever More and has been created to tie in with communities near their 160 shops across Scotland.

Kirkcudbright store manager Gillian McKie and Janet Dagg handed the cheque over and are pictured with some of the Scouts in attendance that night.

They are really excited about the trip and will continue to fundraise for it up until July by bag-packing at Tescos and taking on a stall at the Kirkcudbright Academy Half Marathon. Two Scout parents will also be running the 10k at the half marathon whilst the Scouts are busy dealing with the tombola and bric-a-brac stall which will allow them to work towards their fundraising badges.

Many thanks go to Keystore for their support in a very worthy cause.
