The sun shone for the Kirkbean and New Abbey Primary Partnership Sports Day, held at Abbey Vale FC’s ground.
After a morning of potted sports, families were invited for a picnic with the children.
There were six races in all, followed by a relay and a marathon, with the water race definitely the favourite.
