Kirk Herbstreit still likes Ohio State in his top 4 after win at Nebraska

Ohio State had to grind out a win over Nebraska on Saturday. The Cornhuskers found a way to frustrate the Bucks offense keeping their running game in check and intercepting C.J. Stroud twice.

The Husker defense has kept Nebraska in games all year and is a far better team than their record would indicate. As long as Ohio State is king of the Big Ten, it will always get opponent’s best efforts, especially on the road. The nine-point win was the largest margin of defeat for the Cornhuskers all year. That has to say something.

Kirk Herbstreit still likes Ohio State, but not as much as last week for some reason.  Herbie moved the Buckeyes down to No. 4 in his weekly rankings. He had OSU at No. 3 last week.

Michigan State fell out of Herbie’s top 4 and Michigan moved up to No. 5 this week. Assuming Ohio State can take care of business against Purdue and the Spartans, it sets up another huge matchup in Ann Arbor in the greatest rivalry in sports.
