Kirk Cousins wins FedEx Air Player of the Week

After throwing for 333 yards and four touchdowns in last week’s win over the Eagles, Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins has been named the FedEx Air Player of the Week.

Cousins has been on quite the run as of late, throwing for 639 yards and six touchdowns over the last two weeks.

Despite a slow start, Cousins is still on pace to throw for 3,664 yards and 24 touchdowns. And more importantly, he has the Vikings at 4-2 overall and currently in playoff position.

Cousins’ next test will be in Week 7 against the Lions in Detroit. The Lions rank 28th in the NFL, allowing 280 passing yards per contest.
