Kirk Cousins is using his parents’ driveway for workouts

With most gyms around America closed, athletes without home gyms are being creative, much like the rest of us, with how they are getting their workouts in.

Kimberley A. Martin over at ESPN wrote a story about how NFL players are adjusting their workouts.

Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins is working out exactly how you’d expect Kirk Cousins to work out: In his parents’ driveway.

Here’s what Martin wrote about Cousins:

Four times a week, starting promptly at 9 a.m., the Vikings quarterback gathers equipment from the garage and arranges it neatly on the long, curved pavement leading from his parents’ house to the sidewalk. Resting on a wooden chair is his laptop, connected by videoconference to his longtime personal trainer, Chad Cook, who is 450 miles away in Atlanta. This is a glimpse into what constitutes the 2020 NFL offseason.

While Cousins appears to be doing his part, it will be interesting to see what type of shape players are in once they are able to return to their team’s facilities.
