Kirby Smart on if JT Daniels will play: ‘We’ll see in warmups’

Kirby Smart made it clear this week that quarterback JT Daniels has been dealing with a lat strain recently.

On Saturday, while on College GameDay before No. 2 Georgia’s game vs , Smart took it a step farther and mentioned Daniels had been limited in practice and is indeed a game-time decision.

“It will all depend on how JT does in warmups,” Smart said on ESPN GameDay. “He has been able to go some this week, (and) we’re hopeful he’s able to go, but we’ll see in warmups.”

If Daniels cannot go, expect Stetson Bennett to get the start.

That would be interesting to see.
