On Saturday, the Georgia Bulldogs took down Arkansas State by a score of 55-0 to improve to 3-0 on the young season.
On Monday, head coach Kirby Smart took to Twitter to announce the players of the week, which is primarily based on performances from the previous game.
On offense, the honors went to receivers Lawrence Cager and Dominick Blaylock. Blaylock in particular had an impressive game, gaining 112 yards including a 60-yard touchdown. Cager also contributed a touchdown of his own.
On defense, the designation went to defensive lineman Tyler Clark, who had 1.5 sacks, linebacker Tae Crowder who recorded three tackles, and defensive back Tyson Campbell, who also had three tackles.
On special teams, Nate McBride, who had three tackles, and kicker Rodrigo Blankenship, who cashed in on seven extra points and two field goals received the honor.
The Dawgs next take the field at home against Notre Dame on Saturday.
