Kippford RNLI's popular SOS lunch fundraiser to return

One of Kippford RNLI biggest fundraisers, the SOS lunch, is making a welcome return after an absence of three years due to Covid.

The annual event will take place in Kippford Village Hall next Saturday, January 21, from 12pm to 2pm.

Tickets are priced £7 which gets guests a lunch of soup and sandwiches with tea and coffee.

All proceeds from the function will go towards Kippford RNLI.

Cheryl McLellan, Kippford RNLI fundraising chairperson, said: “The SOS lunch has always been a hugely popular and important event in our fundraising calendar.

“The last one was held in January 2020 due to pandemic restrictions – so we’re thrilled to be able to run the event again this year.

“We hope to see lots of people there.”

The lunch is non-ticketed and guests can simply pay at the door.
