Kinross Primary School to undergo deep cleaning after children fall sick

A local primary school is set to get a deep clean over the weekend, after a number of youngsters came down with a sickness bug.

Kinross Primary School will undergo the cleaning this weekend (Saturday, February 22 and Sunday, February 23) after a number of children in the school’s infant classes fell sick.

This has mainly affected the primary two and primary three classes at the school.

A spokesperson for Perth and Kinross Council said: “A winter viral infection which is prevalent across most of the UK at this time of year has unfortunately struck mainly primary two and primary three classes at Kinross Primary School.

“Appropriate containment measures are in place, lessons continue and deep cleaning of the school will take place over this weekend.

“Parents should check the school website for further information and advice.”
