Kinnaird Close: Man charged with two counts of murder

A 35-year-old man has been charged with two counts of murder after the bodies of a man and woman were discovered in a flat in Kinnaird Close in North Belfast yesterday.

The man is expected to appear before Belfast Magistrates Court on Thursday, December 26.

Police named them as 37-year-old Frances Murray and 47-year-old Joseph Dutton on Tuesday.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "Detectives from PSNI Major Investigations Team have charged a 35-year-old male with two counts of murder.

"The charges are in connection with the murders of Frances Murray and Joseph Dutton in Kinnaird Close in North Belfast on December 23."
