At least three cars have been involved in a crash on the Kingston Bridge as commuters make their way home from Glasgow for the weekend.
Police were called to the incident shortly after 6.10pm this evening (Friday), which has led to the closure of two lanes on the eastbound section of the M8 motorway.
A Police Scotland spokesperson told Glasgow Live: "We were called at around 6.10pm.
"We've got a report of a road crash involving three cars."
Traffic Scotland Tweeted: #M8 RTC E/B Lanes 1 & 2 (of 4) are closed at the Kingston Bridge.
"Traffic is slow getting past."
