David Warner fires Sunrisers to victory over Super Kings in IPL
An outstanding 20-ball half-century from David Warner saw Sunrisers Hyderabad to a match-winning 192 for seven as Chennai Super Kings fell to a second successive defeat.
The Sunrisers, maligned for their inconsistent performances so far this season, got off to a flying start with Warner striking a fluent, hard-hitting 61 from just 28 balls. However, the captain’s dismissal at the hands of Suresh Raina’s part-time spin, after 11 fours and a six, triggered a mini-collapse that put the brakes on Sunrisers’ innings.

Mandeep Singh shines as Royal Challengers Bangalore go third in IPL
Mandeep Singh was the unlikely star for Royal Challengers Bangalore, as he starred in a thrilling run-chase in a rain-affected 10-over-a-side match against the Kolkata Knight Riders.
With the Royal Challengers looking dead and buried after their star-studded top three of Chris Gayle, Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers were dismissed, Mandeep struck boundaries from the final two balls of the penultimate over, then hit Andre Russell for a pair of sixes in the last to secure the win that lifts his side to third in the table.
