Three people were injured after a head-on collision on Friday afternoon on the Kings Highway approximately 30 kilometres east of Bungendore at Manar.
Two men and a teenage girl were injured after a truck and two vehicles collided about four kilometres south of the intersection of the Kings Highway and Goulburn Road.
A man in his 30s had to be cut from the wreckage of one of the vehicles, NSW Police advised.
He was airlifted to the Canberra Hospital and is in a stable condition.
A 32-year-old man and a teenage girl sustained non-life threatening injuries. The girl was airlifted to a Sydney hospital and the man was taken to the Canberra Hospital.
The driver of the truck stopped briefly after the crash, according to NSW Police, but then drove off from the scene.
He was last scene driving east on the Kings Highway towards Braidwood. The truck was described as a flat-bed truck and possibly had a small crane on the back.
Police received a call about the crash at around 4.40pm on Friday.
Police, Ambulance and Fire and Rescue all attended the scene and put traffic diversions in place.
Police are investigating the events leading up to the crash and are appealing to anyone who was driving on the Kings Highway on Friday and may have witnessed or have dash cam footage of the crash to come forward.
