Kings Cross Station: Man arrested after attempting to ‘pull woman onto tracks’

A man has been arrested after allegedly attempting to pull a woman onto the tracks at Kings Cross Underground Station.

While the woman was unharmed, the man was hit by a train during the incident, British Transport Police said on Monday.

Emergency services rushed to the Hammersmith and City Line at the busy London station just before 1.30pm.

“It’s believed a man attempted to pull a woman onto the tracks, before being hit by the train himself,” a BTP spokesperson told the Standard.

“The woman was thankfully unharmed, but understandably shaken up."
