Police officers have reportedly evacuated passengers from King's Cross station in central London, after a man was detained.
A British Transport Police (BTP) spokesman said: "BTP officers are on scene at King’s Cross station dealing with an ongoing incident. A man has been detained by officers on the platforms and enquiries are ongoing.
"Some platforms have closed while this takes place. Members of the public are asked to follow instructions from police officers and rail staff."
Trains travelling to and from from the station are being delayed by up to 30 minutes, according to the National Rail website.
The disruption, which has hit the station less than an hour before the evening rush, will likely last until "at least" 5pm, the statement added.
Passengers at the station have been tweeting updates from the scene.
