King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut Summer Nights music festival returns for 2019

King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut Summer Nights music festival is back.

With the grassroots event now in its 8th year, the iconic venue is teaming up with Coors Light for 2019, serving up even more live acts than previous years.

Over the course of seven weeks, fans will be able to check out the freshest new sounds from across the country at the legendary St Vincent Street space.

With more than 100 musicians across 26 days, this year offers the most diverse line-up yet and anyone who heads along can expect rock, indie, pop, country, jazz and everything in-between.

For years, the legendary King Tut's team have have served up a platform to some of the world’s most famous artists at the very beginning of their career.

From the Oasis discovery story to artists such as Calvin Harris, Florence &The Machine, Lewis Capaldi, and more, many of the biggest names in music have a Tut’s tale to tell, as all Glaswegians will know.

And Summer Nights with Coors Lights aims to present the stars of tomorrow with an opportunity to tell their own Tut’s story.

Every Thursday to Sunday from July 18 - August 31, they will showcase the hottest talent on offer.

Names to look out for include Joesef, Man Of Moon, Ok Button, LYLO and HYYTS, artists who, in the early stages of their careers, are already making noise in the live music scene.

Jamie Probyn, Coors Light UK Brand Manager, said: “The launch of an incredible summer of music at King Tut’s is an exciting partnership for us. We are looking forward to bringing the ice cold refreshment of The World’s Most Refreshing Beer™ to Glasgow this summer, as some of the UK’s (Scotland’s) most exciting emerging talent take to the stage.”

Chris Loomes, Booker of King Tut's Summer Nights at DF Concerts & Events, added: "We’re all really excited about the festival this year. Taking over two months rather than the usual two week stint was a no brainer as it is really important to us that we showcase as much of the amazing talent we have in Scotland as we can with the festival.

"The Scottish music scene is stronger than I can ever remember it right now and I think this is reflected in the amazing line up we have. There’s something for everyone here and the hope is the acts we have playing will come out of the festival with a bit of momentum, new fans and a stronger live show."
