King Tut's to host Bands FC exhibition this spring

The team behind Bands FC have announced they will exhibit their works at King Tut's Wah Wah Hut this spring.

Bands FC, the creation of Mark Liptrott and Nick Fraser, is a much-loved graphic design project which imagines: "bands as football teams and football teams as bands", a combination of the artwork of bands into club crests of football teams throughout the UK and beyond.

The duo have previously exhibited their works at The National Football Museum in Manchester and will be in Glasgow between April 3 and April 17 this year.

Announcing the news on Twitter, Bands FC said: "We’ll be taking our Bands FC exhibition to Glasgow in April as part of the 30th anniversary celebrations for @kingtuts.

"We are so excited to be heading to such a fantastic venue in one of our favourite cities. See you there?"

Bands FC have built up a loyal following over 60,000 on Twitter since joining in June of 2018. In July of that year, our very own Old Firm Facts spoke with the duo to hear more about the inspiration for their work in an article which you can read HERE.
