King to officiate pre-Songkran events

A Songkran greeting card made by His Majesty the King.

A ceremony and cultural events will be held from Friday to Sunday ahead of the Songkran festival to pay homage to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, His Majesty the King, and former monarchs.

They will be initiated by the King and will take place at the Royal Plaza and Sanam Sua Pa from 2pm to 9pm, the Public Relations Department said.
