Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz approved on Saturday holding the Eid al-Fitr prayers at the Masjid al-Haram in Makkah and Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah without any worshippers.

General President of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais said the decision reflects King Salman’s keenness on respecting this holy rite amid the coronavirus pandemic that has swept the world.

He wished everyone a blessed Eid, hoping that the pandemic will be over.
