Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz received in Riyadh on Monday head of the Sudanese transitional Sovereign Council Abdul Fattah al-Burhan.
King Salman threw a dinner banquet in honor of his guest and his accompanying delegation.
Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, later met Burhan for official talks.
They discussed Saudi-Sudanese relations and promising opportunities to develop them. They tackled development and investment opportunities, as well as issues of common interest.
Burhan had arrived in the Kingdom earlier on Monday.
