Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz received on Wednesday a number of telephone calls from Arab leaders, who congratulated Saudi Arabia on the successful organization of the annual Hajj pilgrimage.

He received calls from United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Tunisian President Kais Saied.

King Salman stressed that the Kingdom had dedicated all possible means to ensure that the pilgrims had a smooth journey.

The Kingdom had declared earlier this week the success of the holy pilgrimage in spite of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
