
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz ordered on Monday that coronavirus patients in Saudi Arabia will be treated at the Kingdom’s expense.
The decision applies to Saudis and residents, announced Health Minister Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah in a press conference.
He said the decision stems from the Saudi leadership’s keenness on combating the virus and its prioritizing of human life above all else.
He underlined the need for people to adhere to the preventative measures related to the coronavirus, warning that no one is immune from infection.
He added that Saudi Arabia was among the top ten countries in virus testing, hailing the strong cooperation between various government sectors.
The Kingdom has registered 1,453 infections infections and eight deaths.
