King Salman Orders Release of Detained Insolvent Debtors in Tabuk

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz issued a pardon on Monday for prisoners in the Tabuk region who are held in rights law cases, reported the Saudi Press Agency.

The pardon covers detained insolvent debtors who are not held on criminal charges, whose debts do not exceed one million riyals and whose insolvency is proven legally.

King Salman made the order during a visit to Tabuk, which he kicked off on Monday.

He also ordered the payment of their debts.
