Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz ordered on Saturday the hosting of 1,000 relatives of the martyrs of the Egyptian military and police force to perform this year’s annual Hajj pilgrimage, reported the Saudi Press Agency.

The invitation was made as part of the annual Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Hajj Guests Program that is supervised by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance.

Minister of Islamic Affairs and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh thanked King Salman for his gesture, which demonstrates his keenness on his brothers throughout the Arab and Muslim worlds.

It also reflects his gratitude to the role they play in defending the stability and security of their nations, he continued.

As many as 43,547 pilgrims have benefited from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Hajj Guests Program since its inception 22 years ago.
