
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz telephoned on Tuesday British Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
Discussions focused on the G20, whose 2020 presidency is chaired by Saudi Arabia, and its efforts in easing the impact of the novel coronavirus pandemic.
King Salman hoped the group will continue its efforts in confronting the outbreak in service of the global economy and people throughout the world.
For his part, Johnson hailed Saudi Arabia’s leadership of the G20 meetings and its mobilization of members to confront the impact of the pandemic.
He wished it more success, while underlining the historic friendship and close relations that bind Saudi Arabia and Britain, hoping they will be strengthened further.
