
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz departed Saudi Arabia for Egypt on Saturday to attend the Arab League-European Union summit, reported the Saudi Press Agency.
Held in Sharm el-Sheikh under the auspices of President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi, the two-day summit will kick off on Sunday.
Discussions will focus on issues of common interest, including politics, security and counter-terrorism.
King Salman has ordered that Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, will manage the Kingdom’s affairs in his absence.
