A man has been left in a “potentially life threatening condition” after falling from a building in King’s Cross.

Swinton Street was closed just before 2pm on Wednesday and reopened just after 8pm.

A police cordon had been set up around a three-storey building.

The scene is a short walk from King's Cross and St Pancras stations, one of the country's busiest train terminals.

A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said: “We were called at 1.54pm on Wednesday to reports of a man injured on Swinton Street, Camden.

“At this stage it is believed the man fell from a height.

“He has been taken to hospital in a potentially life threatening condition.

“His next of kin have been informed.

“Enquiries continue.”
