King Kenny's win over Faze Temperrr to be rescored after American appealed defeat

King Kenny faces an anxious wait to discover whether his win over Faze Temperrr will stand after the American's appeal for the bout to be rescored was successful.

The Faze Clan leader was pipped to a split decision by hometown fighter King Kenny, who boxed well behind his jab and earned a tight victory.

But Faze Temprrr, whose real name is Thomas Oliveira, immediately made his disappointment clear before lodging an official appeal with the Professional Boxing Association.

"Officially started the appeal process today," he wrote on Twitter before the PBA confirmed the fight would be rescored due to "chaotic and dangerous" circumstances experienced by the officials.

To add insult to injury, Faze Temeprrr, lost his entire purse as a result of a bet struck with King Kenny beforehand which would see the winner take home the loser's prize money.

After having his hand raised, King Kenny took to social media to address the controversy, writing: "Everyone in the arena saw I won that. I don't know why people online are saying it’s rigged.

"I'm going to review the whole fight shortly on a video and show why I won. And if he wants to run it back in America for me to beat him again then bring it!"

In the ring after the right, he had said: "It feels great man," he said after the fight. "I put a lot of hard work into my training.

"Thanks to my coach Daley, my older brother, he put me through a lot.

"Thank you so much to everyone who came out to support."

The fight night at Wembley Arena, which was headlined by Deji's defeat by Alex Wassabi, was marred by several controversial incidents and crowd trouble.

The fight between Ryan Taylor and DK Money was called off in the first round when Taylor was disqualified for a deliberate headbutt.

That led to significant unrest in the crowd with fans spilling out of their seats and towards the ring.

The main event was also plunged into controversy when influencer Louis Bow jumped into the ring during the second round.

The prankster was bundled out of the ring and the arena before the bout continued.
