King Charles' response to Harry and Meghan Netflix doc hailed by royal expert

A Royal expert believed King Charles "totally outplayed" Harry and Meghan following the bombshell Netflix documentary. The Netflix series had many shocking revelations and they have not gone unnoticed, reports the Mirror.

Many viewers speculated that there could be no way back into the fold for Harry after the shocking footage was aired. However, the latests reports in the Telegraph indicate that the King will be sending the Sussexes an inviation for his coronation ceremony next year on May 6.

A source said: “All members of the family will be welcome.”

Now, royal expert Daniela Elser said this "goes a long way towards making the Royal Family look magnanimous and warm-hearted Royal Family, willing to be the much bigger people and to look past that Netflix nonsense." It has even been speculated that King Charles will mention the pair in his first Christmas speech.

Elser continued: "The same report stated even after the final episodes aired, there was no desire to make any changes to his carefully considered message in the wake of the increasingly ferocious attacks.

"The Palace’s Sun Tzu-worthy strategy goes beyond the Sussexes’ inclusion in next year’s big day to them doing something else that has taken some by surprise. Absolutely nothing. The only line that has emerged from the Palace has been a firm 'no comment', a position from which they will reportedly not be budging."

It also emerged that William has no plans to speak to Harry after the Documentary series. Harry claimed that Kensington Palace “lied to protect my brother” after they were said to have issued a statement denying a story that William had bullied him.

The Prince also accused King Charles of lying during a tense meeting to discuss him and Meghan leaving.

A friend of William's told the Times: “I don’t think a great deal has really surprised anyone. It has been pretty obvious that things have been very strained for a while. There is sadness at where things currently are with his brother.”
