King Charles 'acting decisively and quickly with Harry and Meghan's Frogmore eviction'

King Charles has evicted Harry and Meghan from Frogmore Cottage as he is "acting decisively and quickly" to "put to bed" issues with the Sussexes and Andrew before his Coronation, it is claimed.

The Sussexes confirmed that they had been told to leave the property by this summer and were reportedly “stunned” by the decision.

It has also been claimed that Prince Andrew has been offered the keys to Frogmore but he is “resisting” the move as he is unsure whether he could afford the upkeep.

Charles has made the decision to remove the Sussexes with no thaw in their relationship with the Royal Family.

Harry’s memoir Spare, released in January, shared more intimate details of his personal and royal life which included him saying he found out about the Queen’s death from checking the BBC website.

It was the latest criticism of the royals from the Duke of Sussex who has regularly spoken publicly in the United States about his differences with them since moving abroad in 2020.

And Charles wants to tackle the problems with the Sussexes and Andrew before his Coronation in May, said The Sun.

A source reportedly said: “Charles wanted to start after his Coronation with the issues of Harry and Meghan and Andrew put to bed.

“The situation has dragged on far too long and he wanted to act decisively and quickly.”

It is claimed that Charles has the backing of Camilla over evicting the Sussexes but Andrew and his daughters Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie are “appalled”.

The late Queen gifted Frogmore Cottage to Harry and Meghan following their wedding back in 2018.

Frogmore was converted into one home in 2019, having previously been five separate properties for staff working on the Windsor Estate.

The whole renovation cost the Sovereign Grant £2.4million and the property is thought to have five bedrooms, a kitchen, a sitting room and a nursery first designed for Archie.

Charles' decision to evict the Sussexes also throws into further doubt whether they will be given an invite to his coronation in May.

After reports of the eviction, a spokesperson for the Sussexes said: “We can confirm The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been requested to vacate their residence at Frogmore Cottage."

According to Omid Scobie , one of the authors behind the biography of Harry and Meghan, Finding Freedom, the King's decision came after Harry released his controversial memoir Spare in January.

He claims that the couple was told the property was needed for "someone else" and that relations between Harry and Meghan and the rest of the Firm was at "an all-time low".

And writing for Yahoo , he explained: "It's news, sources tell me, that has left Harry and Meghan stunned, and at least two members of the Royal Family 'appalled'."
