Family members, supporters and players bid farewell to former King Power and Leicester City owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha in a cremation on Thursday presided over by His Majesty the King.

The King presided over the royally sponsored ceremony at Wat Debsirindrawas Ratchaworawiharn attended by Vichai's family members, relatives and his acquaintances.

Leicester City staff and players, including new coach Brendan Rodgers, arrived in Bangkok on Wednesday for a final farewell to the man who turned around the football club.

Vichai, 60, and four others were killed on Oct 27 when their helicopter crashed outside the King Power Stadium after a Premier League match. His son, Aiyawatt, succeeded him at the football club.

Under the leadership of Vichai, Leicester has done what looked like a fairy tale when the team won the 2015/16 Premier League trophy, when it started the season with 5,0000-1 pre-season outsiders.
