Jordan’s King Abdullah II said the security of Saudi Arabia was an integral part of that of Jordan and the region, reiterating his condemnation of the Houthi attacks on the Kingdom.
He also emphasized the consolidated brotherly ties that unite his country with Saudi Arabia and his keenness to enhance bilateral cooperation in all fields.
The Jordanian monarch’s remarks came during his meeting on Wednesday in Amman with Dr. Abdullah Al-Sheikh, Chairman of the Saudi Shura Council, within the framework of his official visit to Jordan.
For his part, the Speaker of the Shura Council conveyed to King Abdullah II the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman, and their wishes to Jordan and the Jordanian people for continued progress and prosperity.
The meeting was attended by Faisal Al-Fayez, President of the Jordanian Senate, and Nayef Al-Sudairi, Saudi Ambassador to Jordan.
