Kind staff at Kirknowe care home delighted with sparkling Care Inspectorate report

A Wishaw care home team have been celebrating their success in a recent Care Inspectorate report.

The staff at HC-One in Kirknowe were delighted to have received an impressive report that rated the home as ‘Good’ in ‘How well do we support people’s wellbeing?’, ‘How good is our setting?’ and ‘How well is care and support planned?’ and ‘Very Good’ for ‘How good is our leadership?’ and ‘How good is our staff team?’

The Stewarton Street home received plenty of praise from inspectors as they were impressed by the kind ways in which staff provide care for residents.

Fiona Truesdale, home manager at Kirknowe, said: “Everyone at Kirknowe is delighted with our Care Inspectorate report, I couldn’t be prouder of our team.”

And HC-One area director, Heather Leighton said: “This rating is great news! I would like to thank the whole team for their commitment and hard work and congratulate them on such an impressive report.”

Kirknowe offers short and long term care packages for people needing nursing and nursing dementia care.

The home is also celebrating achieving a 9.5/10 average rating on carehome.co.uk, the sector’s leading care home comparison website.
