Kind-hearted strangers who stopped to help a man after he fell on a major road are desperate to find out if he’s OK.
Several people stopped what they were doing on Ripponden Road, close to the junction with Coleridge Road, shortly after 5.30pm on Thursday evening after a man in his 50s collapsed.
A number of people came to his aid, helping to direct traffic, performing CPR, and calling for help.

Kyle Ashworth is one of the people who stopped to help, after he saw the man on the floor when he drove past.
Now, he's keen to find out if the man is OK.
Speaking to the Manchester Evening News , he said: “As I drove past up towards Buckstones Road there were two people crossing the road looking hurried.
“I didn’t realise until I had passed and checked my mirrors that there was somebody on the floor and I decided to turn around to see if I could help.
“The gentleman had fallen and had a head injury, and another witness was on the phone to the emergency services.
“He wasn't breathing and we started CPR until the ambulance arrived and took over.
“Anything in between is a bit of a blur. There were several members of the public who stopped to assist and were directing traffic.
“They all deserve a pat on the back.”
Part of the street was blocked for a short period of time whilst emergency services responded to the incident, which saw the man rushed to the Royal Oldham Hospital.
The man is understood to have collapsed and injured his head after hitting it on the pavement.
A spokesperson for the North West Ambulance Service said: "We were called to Ripponden Road at 5.20pm last night for a patient who had collapsed.
"We sent an ambulance and rapid response vehicle and transported a male in his 50s to Royal Oldham Hospital."
The man's current condition is not yet known, but emergency services have been contacted for an update.
