Kind-hearted Crossmichael youngsters gives goodies to Castle Douglas NHS staff

A kind-hearted youngster brought cheer to NHS staff in Castle Douglas.

Emma Saunderson had been helping to brighten up Crossmichael by making rainbows to put up around the village, using her own pocket money to pay for material.

She raised more than £125 to buy a car boot load of goodies, including tea, coffee, biscuits and chocolate which she handed over to staff at Castle Douglas Hospital.

Ten-year-old Emma’s JustGiving page also raised £55 to go straight to NHS staff.
