June 10--Coach Joel Quenneville is making some lineup changes for Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final against the Lightning.
Back in the lineup are winger Kris Versteeg and defenseman Kimmo Timonen while Quenneville said Johnny Oduya, who suffered an upper-body injury in Game 3, is "likely" to play even though Oduya did not skate with the team Wednesday morning.
Versteeg, who played in the first two games of the series, will replace Bryan Bickell on the Hawks' second line with Brad Richards and Patrick Kane.
Bickell, who has been battling vertigo, played in Game 3.
"It's frustrating, but they switch the lineup for a reason, to get a spark from somebody or some line," Bickell said. "It's disappointing."
Meanwhile, the 40-year-old Timonen will make his finals debut. Timonen has been a healthy scratch since Game 6 of the Western Conference finals against the Ducks.
"I'm living in the moment. Past is past," Timonen said. "I have a really good opportunity tonight. It is not about me. It is about the team and getting a win tonight. We all obviously know it is a huge game. We need a win tonight. I get the sense from the team that the focus is really high."
It appears Trevor van Riemsdyk will keep his spot along the blue line. Van Riemsdyk was among the first Hawks off the ice following their morning skate, a sign that he is likely to play. That would leave David Rundblad and Kyle Cumiskey as healthy scratches.
