Kim Porter: the model and actress has died aged 47

Kim Porter, former long-term girlfriend of Hip Hop star Diddy and mother to three of his children, has been found dead aged 47.

Representatives of Diddy, real name Sean Combs, confirmed the actress and model died at her home in LA on Thursday.

No further details on her death have been released.

Stars from the Hip Hop world including Missy Elliot and 50 Cent paid tribute.

Diddy and Porter were a couple on-and-off from 1994 until they split for good in 2007.

Together they have a 20-year-old son and 11-year-old twin daughters. Combs also has three other children with other women.

Porter also has a 27-year-old son, Quincy Brown, from a previous relationship with singer Al B. Sure.
