It was a close and fascinating match between Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain in the Women’s Champions League quarter-final – but ultimately it was the French side who progressed.
They now go on to play holders Lyon in Wednesday's semi-final.
The Gunners, however, are out of the competition and due to their third-place finish in the Women's Super League will not be taking part in it next season either.

Could have done better asserting herself in the area – but theAustrian is more of a sweeper-keeper, there for her distribution, not just her traditional shot-stopping skills, and pulled off a great feet-first save from Diani late on.

Fine creativity going forward, something Joe Montemurro always likes to see from his full backs.

Allowed Katoto to get away from her for the opener, and looked less than calm throughout.

A solid first half but was forced off with injury four minutes into the second.

A decent display until her error led to PSG’s second goal, turned inside out as she tried to hold the ball up in the corner.

An uncomfortable tangle of legs with Diani in the first half did not put too much of a dampener on her evening.

Missed a golden chance to level up for her side in the firsthalf, but hustled and harried relentlessly.

Her usual aggressive self but she lacked time on the ball. When she did get possession and a great chance to get a shot away, her first touch was inadequate.

A fine finish for Arsenal’s equaliser, and given some pretty physical treatment by her opponents.
