Kim Kardashian comforts Scott Disick in unseen Keeping Up with the Kardashians clip

Kim Kardashian was quick to help struggling Scott Disick as he told young son Reign all about the grandparents he will never meet.

Keeping Up With The Kardashians makers E! have released a never-been-seen clip of the pair's emotional chat with the five-year-old.

Going through old photos, Scott, 37, begins to open up.

His parents Bonnie and Jeffrey tragically died within months of each other more than seven years ago.

Scott has always accepted it had been hard to talk about his parents (E!)

Scott's ex sister-in-law helps things along as he struggles to talk about his mum and dad.

"It must be so good to have all of these," Kim tells Scott as she sees the album on the table in the season 18 clip.

Scott replies: "It's really cool. I literally had no idea I had them."

They then show Reign pictures of his grandparents.

Kim was on hand to give him some support (E!)

"Look, this was your grandpa," Kim says as she shows the boy a picture of Jeffrey.

"He was so nice. And your grandma Bonnie - she was so silly."

Kim then added: "You would have been her favourite... because you are so silly!"

Scott then opens up more about his loss as Reign looks on smiling.

She even laughed at Scott's five-watch arm! (E!)

"You know, I don't think I was really ready to talk about my family," he said.

"But now, I think the more I talk about my parents the more my kids will feel connected to them and remember them."

"You know, that's the only way they're ever gonna feel that connection."

Scott and Sofia Richie appear to be giving their relationship another roll of the dice.

Scott and the 21-year-old daughter of music legend Lionel Richie broke up back in May after a three year romance.

But now it is being suggested the pair are back together after reportedly rekindling their romance.
