Kim Kardashian to 'produce and host crime podcast' to educate fans on prison reform

It seems Kim Kardashian is furthering her new career move as she's set to "produce and host" her own crime podcast while currently studying to become a lawyer.

The 39-year-old reality star is launching her own Spotify podcast on prison reform, according to the Wall Street Journal.

And it's reported that mum-of-four Kim, who is embarking on a career change, is going to co-host and co-produce the new series alongside TV producer Lori Rothschild Ansaldi.

A date for the new podcast is yet to be confirmed.

Kim's reported new move comes after she's spent the last two years seeking clemency for inmates who were given too harsh a prison sentence.

According to the WSJ, Kim's new podcast will follow Lori's investigation into Kevin Keith's case - who was convicted of three murders back in 1994.

He has maintained his innocence and has appealed the conviction several times.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star is a vocal advocate for criminal justice reform and has been studying hard to become a lawyer through an apprenticeship programme.

Speaking about her new venture into the world of law on an episode of KUWTK, she said: "It's kind of crazy because I'm learning it all as I go.

"I spend more time on this than I do anything else. It's insane but it's so fun to be around people that are super smart and get it and want the same thing."

The superstar revealed in an interview with Vogue last year that she hopes to achieve her goal of taking the bar in 2022 when her four-year apprenticeship ends at her current San Francisco firm.

Kim said back in February she was preparing to take tests required for her to become a lawyer.

The reality star recently said it's 'so hard' (MDM)

Admitting it's "so hard," Kim added: "I just finished year one. I'm about to take the baby bar in a few months, which is a necessity in order to continue on for the next three years in California.

"So it feels good, having finished year one. It's very hard!"

It's unknown what Kim could rake in financially from the podcast, but it's guaranteed to be a great next step for Kim's impressive career history.
