Kim Kardashian got the post-quarantine hair makeover memo. The reality TV star took to Instagram on Monday to show off her new, cherry-red color.
Sharing three posts to her Instagram stories, the 39-year-old kept her hair pulled back as she tilted her head from side to side to give fans a few different views of the red color.
“You guys, I dyed my hair red,” Kardashian said in the second video, where her hair was styled into a messy top knot with face-framing pieces left out. “Do you love it?” she asked.
Chris Appleton, who is frequently behind Kardashian’s hair switch-ups (both real and wig), helped her with her latest look. Appleton, who also works with Jennifer Lopez, Kary Perry and Ariana Grande, posted Kardashian’s videos to his own Instagram page.
“Redhead,” he wrote, before answering the question we were all wondering, “It’s NOT a wig before you start with that s**t.”
Kardashian’s red makeover comes after a recent blonde wave that’s been sweeping Hollywood.
Models Kaia Gerber and Emily Ratajkowski both went platinum earlier this month, and Kardashian's younger sister Kylie Jenner even brought one of her blonde wigs back (before swapping it for a cotton candy pink color a week later).
In between giving fans a look at her new red hair, Kardashian has been posting photos to her Instagram and stories of her family’s visit to their Wyoming ranch.
The trip was taken earlier this month in celebration of her daughter North’s 7th birthday.
The series of snaps saw Kardashian with her usual long, dark hair as she posed with husband Kanye West, rode horses with North and lounged on a massive beige couch in matching chaps (as you do on vacation).
