Kim Kardashian shares health update following brain aneurysm diagnosis

Kim Kardashian has provided an update after it was revealed during last week’s episode of The Kardashians that she suffered a brain aneurysm.

The reality star was appearing on Good Morning America to promote Ryan Murphy’s new legal drama All’s Fair on Tuesday when she was asked about the revelation.

“You’ll see in the next episode, I did go and get a Prenuvo scan, and I had to end up going and getting tons of other brain scans at Cedars [Sinai Medical Center] with all the team,” the Skims founder explained.

“So just tune in next week,” she continued, plugging her family’s eponymous reality show, as several in the studio were heard laughing.

“But everything works out,” Kardashian added.

She also emphasized the need to “be careful with everything that you do.”

Kardashian, 45, revealed the shocking health news during the Season Seven premiere of The Kardashians. She was seen crying to her sister, Kourtney, over the results of her scan.

When doctors revealed she had suffered a “little” aneurysm, Kardashian appeared taken aback, putting her hand on her chest and saying “Whoa.”

She appeared to blame the diagnosis on the stress of her divorce from ex-husband Kanye West. The two were married in 2014, and Kardashian filed for divorce in 2021.

Speaking on The Kardashians premiere, she said the relationship between her and West is now “so f****** sad” and she felt “pretty tested” by his actions.

Kardashian — who shares North, 12, Saint, nine, Chicago, seven and Psalm, six, with West — said that her main focus is shielding her children from hearing about their father’s erratic behavior.

“They’re gonna know things. They’re gonna grow up, they’re gonna see,” she said on the show. “So, it’s my job as a mom to make sure that, at a time when that behavior is happening, to make sure they’re protected.”

Hours after her Good Morning America appearance, Kardashian opened up about how her own legal journey helped her performance on All’s Fair while joining the panelists on The View.

Kardashian opted for the unconventional law school route, studying under a lawyer in a workaround offered in California. She enlisted in an apprenticeship program with a San Francisco law firm in 2018, according to multiple reports, and celebrated the completion of that program in May.

“I still have to pass the bar [exam],” she confirmed to the show’s co-hosts.

Still, she’s found that knowledge useful as she’s navigated Murphy’s scripts.

“It’s fun saying things and using dialogue that you actually know what you’re talking about,” she said of the legal jargon used in the show.
