Kim Kardashian says I'm A Celebrity didn't 'reach out' to Caitlyn Jenner's family

Kim Kardashian has hit back at claims that her famous family didn't support Caitlyn Jenner during her time on I'm A Celebrity.

Caitlyn, 70, became tearful talking about her family issues when speaking to Ant and Dec during her exit interview.

The Kardashians and Jenners have reportedly not supported her during her stint on the show and no-one from the family was there to greet her as she left the jungle.

The apparent lack of support sparked outrage from viewers, prompting Kim to tell her followers on Twitter that ITV didn't reach out to them, Mirror Online reports.

Kim said: "NO ONE from I’m A Celeb even reached out and asked for letters, appearances or anything from any Kardashians or Jenners."

Her Twitter rant supported the claims apparently made by step-brother Brandon, who has reportedly accused ITV of orchestrating Caitlyn's journey on the show to gain 'empathy' from viewers.

A fan sent a screenshot of a conversation to Mirror Online after they asked Brandon why he wasn't there to support Caitlyn.

The viewer questioned: "Why wasn't you at the bridge? So sad seeing your dad upset."

The 38-year-old reportedly responded: "Honestly, nobody reached out to set it up.

"I think it might have been a 'storyline' the producers wanted to fabricate in order to get more empathy for Caitlyn. That's how that kind of TV works."

ITV has been contacted for comment.
