An old tweet by Kim Kardashian in which she fangirled over Katie Price has resurfaced on social media and fans have gone into meltdown.
It was back in 2009 that the 40-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians star spotted Katie and her ex-husband Peter Andre on a flight and decided to share the experience with her Twitter followers.
Over a decade on, Kim's loyal fans have taken to social media to reflect on the old tweet as well as the pairs' reality star legacies.
Kim's original tweet read: "Omg Katie Price aka Jordan and her husband Peter are on my flight home from NYC!"
Several fans have expressed their joy that the social media post has emerged yet again, as they reflected on the starstruck moment.
One fan wrote: "it’s blowing my mind that there was a time where kim k was starstruck by seeing peter andre and katie price"
"We can never forget how at one point in this world kim kardashian thought of katie price as more famous than her," added another.
" Kim Kardashian being starstruck by Katie Price and Peter Andre has frazzled my nut here hahahahaha" joked a third.
It was actually in 2016 when Katie finally responded to the message, writing: "@KimKardashian awe that is so cute! Thankyou Kim #Flashback."
While Katie and Kim both shot to fame thanks to their reality shows, their time in the limelight has taken them on quite different journeys throughout the years.
Just one month after Kim's starstruck tweet in 2009, Katie and Peter would confirm that they had divorced three years after meeting on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me out of Here!
The mum of five has since gone on to get divorced a further two times before announcing in 2021 that she was engaged to Carl Woods and couldn't be happier.
While Kim was famous at the time of her tweet in 2009, the mum of four's fame continued to soar to new heights as did that of her A-list family.
More recently, Kim has been studying to become a lawyer as well as running her successful Skims company alongside a host of other business endeavors.
It was also confirmed earlier this year that Kim and her husband Kanye West were heading for divorce after almost seven years of marriage.
Although it doesn't appear that Kim and Katie have ever actually met, both stars have continued to appear on TV shows and reality series throughout the years and they both also bost impressive social media followings.
