Kim Kardashian and her loved ones are reportedly "shielding" her four children from the drama surrounding their dad Kanye West.
The 39-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians star was left to pick up the pieces after Kanye tweeted some cutting remarks about her family - from branding mum Kris Jenner a "white supremacist" to talking about divorce.
As backlash from Kanye's outburst continues to unfold, Kim has made it clear that she wants her daughters North, seven, Chicago, two, and sons Saint, four, and Psalm, one, to be protected from the chaos.
A source told People : "She is shielding the kids. All of her family is. They've circled around the kids and are insulating them from all of this."
The source continued: "And everyone else has decided to create an atmosphere of normalcy around them.

"They don’t need to see such a public meltdown."
Mirror Online has contacted Kim's reps for comment.
It comes as Kim ordered Kanye's recent erratic behaviour not to be filmed in the upcoming season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

Kim made calls for her husband's mental health to not be "exploited" in the show's storyline
The hit reality TV show has just starting filming again as the Kardashian/Jenner clan gear up to shoot in Malibu.
A production source told TMZ : "Kim takes her husband's mental health very seriously and doesn't want it exploited for ratings or good TV drama."
It's also alleged that Kim made sure their four kids will not be filmed in the series either as she doesn't want them seeing the footage when they get older.
Kim, her sisters and other family members will still appear on the show.

During Kanye's tweetstorm, the 43-year-old rapper claimed he had been trying to divorce Kim ever since she went to a hotel with rapper Meek Mill as he accused her of trying to get him "locked up" for his rants.
Kanye also went on to insult Kim's mum Kris by calling her Kris Jong-un, in reference to the North Korea dictator Kim Jong-un.
He then called Kris a white supremacist in a screenshot of messages he sent his mother-in-law threatening her with 'war'.
His behaviour went more awry from there as he embarked on lengthy Twitter rants while holed up at his Wyoming ranch.

Kanye has since apologised publicly on Twitter for 'hurting' Kim and, writing: "I would like to apologise to my wife Kim for going public with something that was a private matter.
“I did not cover her like she has covered me. To Kim I want to say I know I hurt you. Please forgive me. Thank you for always being there for me.”
