Kim Kardashian's friend Jonathan Cheban robbed at gunpoint for $250k watch

Copy: Kim Kardashian's friend Johnathan Cheban has opened up about a 'frightening' ordeal where he was mugged at gunpoint over the weekend.

Jonathan, 46, said the incident happened in the suburban area of Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey on Sunday evening as he stood with his mum and a friend outside a private driveway.

He claims a gun was pointed at mum Galina's head before he handed over his $250,000 Richard Mile watch.

"It was frightening. I want the guys caught," Jonathan told the Mail Online.

"The mugger had a gun pointed at my mother's head," he said. "There were two gunmen. It was frightening. It happened at 8:30 pm last night just as the sun was going down."

Jonathan - who is known to Instagram fans as the FoodGod - says he has reported the incident to New Jersey police.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashian's star said a 'young man' came over to ask him what the time was. Jonathan then told his mother and friend to go inside the house.

They then noticed a second man while the perpetrator asked for money or Jewellery.

TMZ reports that police were then called with Jonathan going to the station to help with a sketch of suspects.

The incident comes four years after Jonathan supported his friend Kim Kardashian when she was robbed at gunpoint in her Paris hotel room.

Kim was tied up and locked in her bathroom while the gang stole $10million of jewellery.

The mum-of-four said the incident changed her life and she vowed to stop wearing expensive jewellery after her ordeal.

"It was the scariest thing I've ever been through in my entire life, just thinking that, you know, you're about to die," she previously said.
