Kim Kardashian could hold the key to saving one of Scotland’s oldest football clubs, who are on the brink of folding.
Kirkintilloch Rob Roy FC are appealing to the global star for a helping hand.
The Daily Record that Kim is related to Scots hero Rob Roy MacGregor.
Staff now hope Kim can spare some of her $350million net worth to help secure a ground for the East Dunbartonshire club, established in 1878.
Club manager Stewart Maxwell told the Record: “Kim Kardashian is more than welcome to come to Kirkintilloch for a wee holiday.
“If she were to give us some money, we’d throw in a season ticket, a scarf and a badge.”
The club have been sharing the Cumbernauld FC ground as they wait to secure funds for their site at Adamslie Park, locally known as Rob Roy Park.
Despite their financial struggles, Rob Roy will take on Beith in the West of Scotland Cup final in Irvine today.
