Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s daughter North has landed her very first solo magazine cover.
The five-year-old, who is the reality star and the rapper’s eldest child, covers WWD Beauty Inc’s February issue, which is dedicated to exploring the impact of Generations Z and Alpha on the global beauty industry.
North poses in an array of bold Nineties-inspired outfits in the shoot, and wears bright orange eyeliner.
According to the publication, she “embodies the upcoming youthquake, having captivated the digital realm with her cross-generational appeal.”
Kardashian praised her daughter for the shoot, and shared images from the publication on her Instagram account, revealing that she helped style North for the special occasion.
“My most stylish and beautiful baby girl North shot her 1st cover for @wwd!!!” she proudly told followers. “She loves fashion & beauty and has so much fun doing this.”
In a further Twitter post, she revealed that North "picked her looks and her eyeliner color," and that "all she wanted was nachos on shoot day and we made that happen!"
Fans praised the colourful shots as “beautiful,” with one branded her as “literally the cutest kid ever.”
“Soo adorable… I can’t believe how big she is. Wow!” another wrote.
“Your little girl is soooo precious! What a beautiful girl she is,” another Instagram user wrote.
Kardashian’s model sister Kendall Jenner joked that her niece was “giving [her] a run for [her] money that’s for sure” in a Twitter post.
Speaking about her daughter’s love of make-up in an interview with Refinery29, Kardashian said that she is keen for North to be able to “express herself.”
“I don’t think she should wear lashes or too dark of a lipstick. I want her to express herself, but I want her to be appropriate too,” she said.
“I already know North is into make-up for sure… when companies send make-up and I have a lot, I’ll give it to her.”
