Kim Kardashian plots new series after multi-million dollar deal with Apple TV

Kim Kardashian is hoping to take a multi-million dollar bite out of Apple.

The reality star could sign for the tech firm’s streaming service, Apple TV Plus, in a huge deal.

It is thought to have been sparked after Kim announced the end of her revolutionary reality show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

Sources say Apple has made an early approach to snap up the 39-year-old, which could see her producing and featuring in a string of formats.

Kim, who is wed to rapper Kanye West, 43, is one of the world’s biggest reality TV stars.

An insider said: “Apple want to seal a deal with Kim before any other streaming competitors do. They know she has a huge fan base in the US and Britain and could revolutionise Apple TV’s position amongst Netflix and Disney Plus.”

The approach to Kim’s team comes after announcements that Keeping Up With The Kardashians will stop filming next year after more than a decade.

In that time, the 14 seasons of the family drama shown on E! – which follows the lives of Kim and her extended family in California – have spawned a cult following and raked in millions.

Back in 2017, Kim’s mum and manager Kris Jenner closed a £115million deal for five seasons.

It is believed Kim alone is worth £270million and rakes in around £4.5million per season.

The insider said the mother of four – whose pneumatic curves have made her the standout character in the TV show – is keen to use her star power to accumulate even more millions.

The source added: “She’s keen to land a mega streaming show with Apple or Netflix after the end of KUWTK.

“Netflix are also interested in a conversation with her so Kim has her pick of new projects.”

Apple’s foray into television has been rolling out to more platforms, with shows featuring stars like Oprah Winfrey, Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon.
